Celebration Entertainment is a sound system rental company based in Brooklyn, serving New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania since 2001. Same-Day Delivery in Brooklyn, Manhattan & Queens
Every figure is a flat day rate with delivery and setup inside it, not a starting price that grows on the phone. Day two and day three are half price, so a three day weekend costs the same as two days - one delivery and one pickup either way.
The minimum order for delivery is $250. Under that, pickup from the store at 1202 Avenue N in Brooklyn is welcome. Guitar amps, stage boxes, headphones and stands are quoted from the room, because what you need depends on the band and the space.

Sound is four things that have to work together: something to make it loud, something to control it, something to speak into, and the stands and cables that hold it all up. We carry all four, so nothing has to come from three different companies and nothing turns up missing a cable.
JBL and RCF powered speakers, the brands touring companies use. Subwoofers from the same two. Line array is available when the room is big enough to need it, and there is no cap on how many speakers we can put on one job.
A pa system rental here is the $295 package - two speakers, two stands, a mixer and a wireless microphone in one price. A party speaker rental for a backyard or a basement is usually one speaker and one microphone.
Midas and Behringer digital mixers, with a stage box when the console has to sit out front and the inputs are on stage. A small mixer comes free with any microphone rental, and every cable a setup needs comes in the same case.

This is the whole list, and it is worth reading rather than glancing at. A cheap quote almost never names a brand, because naming one invites the question of which model. Every logo below is equipment we own and rent out ourselves.

Setup is included on every sound system rental, wherever the job is. Delivery is free in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens once the order is over $300. Outside those three boroughs there is a delivery fee based on distance, quoted from the address.
The fees: Brooklyn $75, free over $300. Manhattan and Queens $150, free over $900. Bronx and Staten Island $175, free over $1,200. Nassau, Westchester and northern New Jersey $225, free over $1,500. Beyond that it is $8 a mile measured one way from Brooklyn 11230.
Book before 11:30am and it goes out the same day. After 11:30am it is the next day. In Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens same-day usually lands within two to three hours.
Two extras are published rather than added afterwards: stairs above two flights with no elevator is $150, and a pickup after 10pm is $150. Nothing appears on the invoice that was not on the quote.
A school gym, a church hall, a wedding tent and a closed street all need sound and none of them need the same sound. Tell us the room, the headcount and whether anyone is playing live, and we will size it.
Schools and PTAs
Assemblies, graduations, productions and field days. A New York City Department of Education approved vendor, and purchase orders are fine.
Live bands and musicians
Guitar amps, a mixer with enough channels, stage boxes and monitors. The part a party rental company usually cannot cover.
Churches and community groups
Speech first, music second. A wireless microphone and two speakers cover most halls without a mixing engineer.
Weddings
Ceremony, speeches and the dance floor, which are three different jobs. A wireless microphone that does not cut out during the vows.
Block parties and street fairs
Outdoors, on a closed street, with power to think about. We help with permits and we rent generators.
Corporate and conferences
Presentations, panels and award nights. Lapel and headset microphones, and a mixer nobody has to babysit.

A live band is a different order from a DJ - it needs enough mixer channels for every instrument and vocal, a stage box so the console can sit out front, and monitors so the band can hear itself. Tell us how many players and what they are playing and we will size the mixer to it.
Two powered speakers on stands cover most rooms up to about 150 guests for speech and background music. Add subwoofers once there is dancing, because the bass is what a dance floor is actually asking for. A gym, a hall or an outdoor street needs more, and a big room may want line array. There is no cap on how many speakers we can supply - tell us the room and the headcount.
Yes. A microphone rents on its own and a small mixer is included with it, wireless or wired. A speaker does not include a microphone - a speaker comes with a stand, and that is the only thing bundled with it. A speaker and a microphone together is an add-on rather than a package.
