Celebration Entertainment is a DJ equipment rental company in Brooklyn, New York, serving New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. One rental gives you a Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer, a turntable, a DDJ-SZ controller and one microphone for $650 a day, set up for you.
It is a flat rate for the whole setup rather than a charge per item, and a DJ setup rental runs a full 24 hours. Day two and day three are half price, so a three day weekend costs the same as two days. If you have priced each piece separately at a pro audio house, that is the difference.
Add the PA package for $295 and the whole job, DJ gear and sound together, is $945. Delivery is free in Brooklyn on orders over $300, and in Manhattan and Queens on orders over $900, which the DJ package reaches once the PA package goes with it. Outside those three the delivery is priced by distance and we quote it. Minimum order for delivery is $250.

Need the booth as well? The DJ booth is $195 a day and rides on the same delivery – $845 with the DJ package, $1,140 with DJ plus PA. If you only need the sound, the PA package is $295 on its own.
Four things go out on a DJ job. Take the package on its own, or add the booth, the speakers and the room it all sits in.
One rental, four pieces: a Pioneer DJ DJM-A9 mixer, a turntable, a Pioneer DDJ-SZ Serato controller and one microphone. It arrives at the venue, we set it up, and you plug in and play. The rental runs a full 24 hours.
The DJ package does not include speakers, so most jobs add them. Every speaker is powered, which means the amplifier is built into the cabinet, and each one comes with a speaker stand.
A microphone can be rented on its own. It can also be added to a speaker, but that is an add on rather than a set price, so tell us what the room needs and we will quote it.
A proper DJ booth for the front of the room, not a folding table with a cloth over it. We ran DJ work ourselves for years before we rented the gear out, so the booth is sized for the decks that go on it.
Most of our DJ rentals go out to four kinds of customer, and the reason they rent rather than buy is almost always the same. They need it working on one specific day and they do not want to own it for the other 364.

A DJ gear rental from us is built around real Pioneer equipment. The controller is a Pioneer DDJ-SZ, which runs Serato, and we also have Pioneer CDJ-3000 players. The mixer is a Pioneer DJ DJM-A9. Technics SL-1200 turntables are available if a job needs them. One microphone comes with the package so whoever is running the night can talk to the room.
Most people start out looking for a DJ mixer rental, or a DJ controller rental, or a turntable rental on its own. The package puts all three together with a microphone at one price, which is simpler than chasing three line items and one delivery each.
We also rent a DJ booth to put it all on, and that matters more than it sounds at the front of a room. What the package does NOT include is speakers. A mixer has nothing to push sound through on its own, so nearly every DJ rental goes out with powered speakers alongside it. The rental period is one day, 24 hours. We are open 8am to 8pm seven days a week and we answer text messages until midnight, which matters more than it sounds when the event is on a Saturday night.

We rented the full DJ setup for my daughter's sweet sixteen - the DJM-A9 mixer, the controller and a microphone - and added two speakers on stands. It came early in the afternoon, and they set the whole thing up and tested it before a single guest arrived, so our DJ just plugged in and started. The hall only had one working outlet near where we wanted the booth, and they sorted that out without making it our problem. Pickup was the same night with no fuss.
