Celebration Entertainment is a speaker rental company in Brooklyn, New York, serving New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. We rent powered JBL and RCF speakers, subwoofers, microphones and line array systems for birthdays, school events, weddings, block parties and corporate events, and we deliver them and set them up.
We have been doing it since 2001.
Most rental companies make you call before they will tell you anything. Here are the numbers. The PA package is $295 a day. A single powered speaker is $125 a day. A day is 24 hours.
The $295 PA package is two powered speakers, two stands, a mixer, a wireless microphone and every cable, which is what most parties, schools and ceremonies actually need. Add another speaker for $125. Add two subwoofers and a second wireless microphone and it is the $550 PA Package Plus.
Day two and day three are half price, so a three day weekend costs the same as two days.
Minimum order for delivery is $250. Under that, pick up from our Brooklyn store. Delivery is free in Brooklyn on orders over $300, and in Manhattan and Queens on orders over $900. Outside those three there is a delivery fee based on distance, quoted from your address. Setup is included on every job, wherever it is.

Most people calling about a speaker do not need one speaker - they need the room covered. These three are what actually goes out: one speaker as an add-on, the PA package that suits nearly every room, and the big one for halls and outdoor events. Every price includes delivery and setup, and nothing is added at the door.

Adding a DJ setup? The DJ package is $650, and the DJ package plus the PA package together is $945 – one delivery, one setup, one price, and it clears the free delivery line in Manhattan and Queens as well as Brooklyn.
Every speaker we rent is powered, which means the amplifier is built into the cabinet. There is no separate amp rack to wire up and nothing extra to rent. These are PA speakers in the everyday sense: one box that covers music and announcements.
Party speaker rental for birthdays, backyard parties and sweet sixteens - and a lot more besides. We are an approved New York City Department of Education vendor as Party Services Inc., so schools can order on a purchase order.
DJ speaker rental works the same as any other speaker rental: $125 a day per powered speaker with a stand, or $295 for the full PA package, delivered and set up.
If you have a DJ but no gear, the DJ package is $650 and includes a Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer, a turntable, a DDJ-SZ controller and a microphone. Book the DJ package and the PA package together and it is $945. Speakers are rented separately, so you can size the sound to the room rather than paying for gear you do not need.

Setup is included, and delivery is free in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens. Outside those three there is a delivery fee based on distance, quoted from the address. We bring the speakers, stand them up, run the cables and check them before we go. You are not unloading anything and you are not guessing at which cable goes where.
Pickup is available if you would rather come to us. We are at 1202 Avenue N in Brooklyn, open 8am to 8pm seven days a week.
We answer texts until midnight, which matters more than it sounds on the night of an event.

No. A speaker comes with a stand, not a microphone. We rent microphones separately, either on their own or added to your speaker order, so tell us if you need one and we will bring it.
Yes. You do not have to rent speakers to rent a microphone. If you already have sound and only need something to speak into, that is a rental on its own.

It depends on the headcount, whether you are indoors or outside, and whether the sound is for speeches or for music and dancing. Describe the space on the phone and we will tell you what will cover it. We would rather send the right amount than the most.

For one event, renting is cheaper every time, and it is not close. Buying makes sense when you run events regularly and have somewhere dry to store the gear between them.
