The screen is a separate charge, because not everyone needs one. A school gym with a screen already on the wall, a church with a white wall, a corporate room with a screen built in - none of those should pay for a screen they will not use. We carry 120, 150 and 180 inch screens, and the three packages put a projector and the right screen together at one price.
Day two and day three are half price, so a three day weekend costs the same as two days. Delivery is free in Brooklyn on orders over $300, and in Manhattan and Queens on orders over $900. Outside those three the delivery is priced by distance and we quote it. Minimum order for delivery is $250, which the projector meets on its own.
A projector and screen rental goes out as one delivery, so there is one truck, one setup and one price rather than two line items and two delivery fees.

Outdoor movie night? Add the PA package at $295 to the Outdoor Package and the whole job is $720 – two speakers, stands, a mixer, a wireless microphone and every cable. It is still free delivery in Brooklyn, and it goes out on the same truck run.
Brightness is almost never the limit. At 5,000 lumens this projector will drive a 200 inch screen with the room lights still on. The real question is whether the screen fits the ceiling. The bottom of the picture has to sit about three and a half feet off the floor so heads do not block it, and the rest of the image goes up from there.
So the screen is chosen from the ceiling height and the furthest seat, not from the lumens. One rule does most of the work: take the distance to the furthest seat in feet and divide it by six. That is the smallest picture height that row can read comfortably.
Projector screen rental is priced separately from the projector here, so a room that already has a screen on the wall does not pay for one it will not use. Each screen comes with its stand, or with its frame and ground stakes outdoors, and it is set up and squared off before we leave.
The size that fits an ordinary room. The picture is 8.7 by 4.9 feet and it needs an 8.4 foot ceiling - a normal conference room, a classroom or a small hall. Comfortable for about 80 people, with the back row around 29 feet out.
The hall screen. The picture is 10.9 by 6.1 feet and it needs a 9.6 foot ceiling, which is a church hall, a banquet room or a school assembly rather than a conference room. Comfortable for about 100 people, with the back row around 37 feet out.
An outdoor movie screen rental is a different product, not a bigger indoor one. This one has weather fabric, a frame and ground stakes, because a screen on a Brooklyn street is a sail and wind load goes up with area. The picture is 13.1 by 7.4 feet, about 120 people, and it doubles as the indoor gym screen at a 10.9 foot ceiling.
Outdoor projection only works after dark. No lumen count changes that – a block party at two in the afternoon cannot use a projector at all. If the event is in daylight, a TV or monitor rental is the honest answer, and we rent those too.
One projector, and we name it, because a model number is the only version of "professional equipment" a customer can actually check. The ViewSonic LS740HD puts out 5,000 ANSI lumens at native 1080p through a 30,000 hour laser light source.
The laser is the part worth understanding. An older projector runs a lamp, and a lamp fails - usually with no warning, and the longer it has been in, the better the odds. There is no lamp in this one to fail in the middle of a graduation. It also means no warm-up wait and no dimming as the night goes on.
The 5,000 lumens answers the question a school or a church is really asking, which is whether the picture holds up with the lights on. It does. There is 1.3x optical zoom, so it fits the throw distance the room gives it rather than the room having to move, and it will drive an image up to 300 inches where there is space for one.

Just the projector? $250 a day on its own, and it lands exactly on our $250 delivery minimum. In Brooklyn that is $250 plus $75 delivery – the same $325 as the Presentation Package, and that one has the screen in it. For a room that only needs an 80 inch picture, a TV or monitor is the better tool.
Setup is included everywhere we go. We bring the projector and the screen to the venue, set it up, focus it, check it against your laptop or your source, and make sure it is working before we leave. Pickup is available as an option, or you can bring it back yourself.
Delivery has a number on it, and here it is rather than "call us". Brooklyn $75, free over $300. Manhattan and Queens $150, free over $900. The Bronx and Staten Island $175, free over $1,200. Nassau, Westchester and northern New Jersey $225, free over $1,500. Past that it is $8 a mile, measured one way from Brooklyn 11230. Minimum order for delivery is $250, and the projector on its own meets it.
All three packages clear the Brooklyn line, so in Brooklyn the delivery conversation does not happen at all. Two extras are published up front rather than added later: $150 if the gear has to go up more than two flights with no elevator, and $150 for a pickup after 10pm. Book before 11:30am and it goes out the same day. After that it is the next day.
The rental period is one day, 24 hours. We are open 8am to 8pm seven days a week and we answer text messages until midnight, which matters more than it sounds when the event is on a Saturday night.

Graduations, assemblies, film screenings and award nights. We are a New York City Department of Education approved vendor under the name Party Services Inc, and purchase orders are fine.
Churches and community groups
Lyrics, sermons, slideshows and video in a hall. The 150 inch is usually the size that fits, and a white wall means you may only need the projector.
Businesses and offices
Town halls, training days, product launches and client presentations. Bright enough to run with the lights on so the room can still take notes.
Block parties and movie nights
Outdoor screenings after dark on the 180 inch screen, staked down. Add sound and the whole thing goes out on one truck run.
Bar and bat mitzvahs
Photo montages on the big screen while guests are seated. We ran one at a bat mitzvah in New Rochelle, with the projector at the back of the room and out of the way.
Birthdays and family parties
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries and family celebrations. The 120 inch screen fits an ordinary catering hall ceiling, and setup is included.
